A forecast for light winds turned out to be an excellent day’s sailing, with possibly the club’s first ever female dominated racing fleet. Three “serious” races were followed by a Commodore’s Day “surprise” race, with no countdown to the start – good practice for hovering near the start line – and not knowing what the next leg would be until you arrived at the buoy and Gibbi told you. A really fun day in near perfect conditions.
Many thanks to Gibbi and Mike as OD and patrol boat helm.
